About ConfigKit

A small set of tools for people who edit configuration files and would rather not upload them to find out whether they parse.

What this site is

ConfigKit converts between YAML and JSON, checks YAML syntax, formats JSON, and converts TOML to JSON. The interesting part of each tool is the editor. The text under it explains the limits of that conversion, including comments and types that JSON cannot store.

Who operates it

Anurag publishes ConfigKit at https://configkit.site. Questions go to the address on the contact page. No company name, registration number, or postal address is published.

What it is not

There is no account, no stored library of files, and no claim that a valid parse means a particular product will accept the file. Read the documentation for schema details and the privacy policy for what a page request still reveals.
